All products on the Shop Hacker platform are marked up a certain percent. This is how we generate revenue and why we are able to make the app free for everyone.
Shop Hacker provides merchants with a cost per product and lets the merchant determine the sales price point. The default margin is set to 30%. That said mark the products up as much as you see fit. With digital goods you can have 50% gross margins and still be price competitive in the marketplace.

Each product on the platform must be approved by one of our Shop Hacker team members. In general we are very open to the types of digital goods offered on the network. That said our focus is currently elearning courses, software-as-a-service subscriptions, design assets, PC software, Mac software, and desktop games.
Our learning management system where all the courses are hosted is AcademyHacker.com. When you are setting up your courses on the Shop Hacker platform you will be prompted to add links to the course content. Typically Dropbox links or Udemy coupon code links with the content made available for download are used. Once you complete the Shop Hacker product listing and give our team access to the content we will get everything setup on Academy Hacker. Once the content is on-boarded into Academy Hacker, your Shop Hacker course listing will go live and your courses can be added by any merchant.
